Shelter Ministry
Mission
To serve a nourishing meal once a month to the homeless in Charlotte at the Men's Homeless shelter in uptown Charlotte.
Volunteer Opportunities
Shopping for food, preparing a Sunday evening meal at the shelter , and serving it to the men at the shelter.
Involving the congregation that are unable to go to the shelter in baking home-made desserts for the residents.
Time Commitment
Varies from baking at home to drop off at the church to assisting with shopping and/or visiting the shelter to prepare and serve on the third Sunday of the month.
