ALPHA
Alpha is an opportunity to explore life’s big questions through a series of videos and small group discussion. It is a space for anyone to ask questions about life, faith, or religion. Whether you choose to begin Alpha in person or online, you will experience a low-key environment. Regardless of what stage you are in your spiritual journey, Alpha is a chance to look at the beauty of our Catholic faith.

The fall Alpha Course has begun and is meeting Thursday evenings 7:00-8:30pm. Springtime Alpha will be coming in soon 2022!

Online Alpha (over Zoom) is by arrangement by contacting

Bob Hayes at sootieh00@hotmail.com.

Jesus: the Way, the Truth, and the Life (Lenten Study)
For a church-wide Bible Study, you might consider this ten-week series! St. Jerome once wrote – “Five gospels record the life of Jesus. Four you will find in books and the one you will find in the land they call Holy. Read the fifth gospel and the world of the four will open up to you.”

Filmed in the Holy Land, the study explores Jesus entire life in the land and extraordinary world in which he lived and taught. Rated as an excellent series, which include DVDs, study, and discussion, you will learn the politics and clashing cultures and see where the most significant events took place.

Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Beginning January 18th, a ten-week series finishing on March 15th. For questions contact Pat Karlsson Backe, p0kfit4u@verizon.net.

Small Faith Group Dinner

New Year Celebration: The Year of the Eucharist

Saturday, January 8th 6:00 pm

Are you part of a Bible Study, a book discussion group that focuses on texts that deepen your faith, or a group of friends that periodically get together to share what God is doing in your life and to encourage one another on the journey? If so, you are a member of a “Small Faith Group.”  All members of St. Luke’s small faith groups, and all parishioners interested in joining a small faith group are encouraged to attend our New Year Celebration in the Family Life Center after the 5 pm mass on Saturday, January 8th. Our goal is to encourage, celebrate, and support existing groups while fostering new participation.

Please go to bit.ly/SFG2022 to register.
