To provide all of the resources needed to keep children in school and help them thrive.

Our Mission

To offer support to the families and staff of Thomasboro Academy and the Thomasboro neighborhood...located in a high-crime, high-poverty area of Charlotte. This ministry attempts to ease the burden on families and staff by providing material help, whether it be school supplies, clothing, shoes, etc., to families with children, or providing food for hungry families in the Thomasboro area.

St. Luke's is a powerful networking source to find help and opportunities. We hope to enable children to go to school well-fed and nourished, appropriately clothed, and ready to learn! We believe education plays a crucial role in ending the cycle of poverty. The Thomasboro ministry provides a valuable path to that goal.
