Small Faith Groups
Mission
To provide a spiritual renewal process to help parishioners develop a closer relationship with Christ, to make an adult commitment to Jesus as central in their lives and to open them up to the power of the Holy Spirit as they become more authentic witnesses. Small Faith Communities are the church of tomorrow, as churches get larger amidst the shortage of priest and religious.
Volunteer Opportunities

Become a leader, invite 5 to 7 people to start a group. Or join an existing group. See contacts for more information and help. Ideal group is 8-12 people to have good discussions.

Time Commitment
Groups meet in their homes or at the church. Each group may be using different material. ex: Home with the Word, bible study, or other books studing our faith. Groups may meet once a month, weekly or bi-weekly. We have a prayer chain to pray for those in need. Prayer is powerful. We come together for Winter Brunch, prayer and fellowship and faith sharing.

New Year Celebration: The Year of the Eucharist
Saturday, January 8th 6:00 pm
Are you part of a Bible Study, a book discussion group that focuses on texts that deepen your faith, or a group of friends that periodically get together to share what God is doing in your life and to encourage one another on the journey? If so, you are a member of a “Small Faith Group.” All members of St. Luke’s small faith groups, and all parishioners interested in joining a small faith group are encouraged to attend our New Year Celebration in the Family Life Center after the 5 pm mass on Saturday, January 8th. Our goal is to encourage, celebrate, and support existing groups while fostering new participation.
