Parish Leadership Nominations

St. Luke’s wants YOU – your gifts and your ideas – for a variety of roles in parish leadership.

The Servant Leadership Team (SLT), our Pastoral Council, is looking for new members. New leaders are also needed on the Education, Stewardship, and Community Ministries Commissions. Members of the SLT and Commissions serve three-year terms.

Commission members work with groups of related ministries to develop plans, request budgets and other resources from the parish, and coordinate publicity.  Commission members do not focus on one thing: they work together with several ministry leaders and other parish organizations.

The Servant Leadership Team represents the parishioners in determining the parish’s goals and working with the pastor, staff, and other volunteers to plan and review all the parish’s activities. Click here to nominate!

The Education Commission’s ministries include Faith Formation for elementary to high school youth, Adult Education, and RCIA. Click here to nominate!

The Stewardship Commission promotes parishioner involvement and spiritual growth.  It includes the Welcome Ministry, Parish Retreats, Faith Groups, and other ministries. Click here to nominate!

The Community Ministries Commission focuses on service to our neighbors in need.  It includes ministries to the homeless, the hungry, prisoners, underprivileged students, and refugees. Click here to nominate!

You can be part of the next generation of leaders at St. Luke’s!  You can also nominate another person you believe would be a great leader! Use the form on the back of this page, or use the QR code to volunteer or nominate someone else!

Nomination is not a commitment!  Volunteers and nominees will be invited to meet – and share refreshments! - with our current commissioners and members of the SLT: to ask questions, to learn more about Commission roles, and, finally, to discern whether serving as a Commissioner is God’s plan for you today.

Click here to nominate!
